OOC PREFERENCES:
•CONTACT METHOD: fiercebadrabbit on plurk
•THREAD-JACKING: Go for it!
•FOURTH WALLING / CANON PUNCTURE:All okay. Axel wouldn't be that surprised.
•BACKTAGGING: Yes! Backtagging is the best.
•AVOIDED TOPICS: None
•PREFERRED GENDER PRONOUN: She/her
IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•CURRENT CANON POINT: Following the novella "Orfy."
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Axel is twenty-seven centimers tall and bright blue. He looks like a Saturday morning cartoon would imagine a theropod dinosaur, with babyish proportions, harmless small and rounded claws and teeth, and big, shiny eyes. He does, in short, look like a toy, and even when he moves and it becomes clear there are muscles and bones underneath, he doesn't quite look like a real animal. A long, ugly scar runs down his back from the base of his neck to the top of his tail. His voice, while loud for such a little guy, is still tinny and shrill. He bounces when he moves and is constantly twitching.
•DEMEANOR: YELLING. Running really fast. Talking about everything that he's ever heard, all of which he totally believes, all of which is great, and cool, and real-real-real and did he tell you about TV frog how about tidal waves how about Rotomotoman how about... Nap.
•ABILITIES: Strangely enough, Axel is quite an ideas guy, if you can get the ideas out of his brain to someplace useful. He dreamed a really great robot one time.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: Axel probably belongs in veterinary care. His physiology is totally artificial and probably quite strange, with everything necessary to staying alive tucked into odd places. He's pretty tough, but he's still tiny. The old scar on his back pulls and hurts sometimes, but he doesn't really notice.
•CABIN INFORMATION: The door is a thoroughly ordinary wooden door of a sort of Neovictorian design, with a few little wooden flowers and frosted glass windows. It also features what seems to be a doggy door. Inside is a room with somewhat worn and battered human-sized furniture, a rug, several pillows lying around, and bland art on the walls. It also features a vaguely futuristic video screen, some random checkers, a tiny battery-powered cart, and a plastic staircase on wheels that Axel can push around to get on top of things.
•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: Don't argue too hard with him about reality, but that's all that he'll get defensive about. Topics like saur death and former captivity he'll either breeze by or zone out for a moment.
IC PERMISSIONS:
•MENTAL: Yes, but I am not responsible for what you find.
•MIMICRY: Sure, but that sounds exhausting.
•VIOLENCE: He's physically and psychologically incapable of fighting back, but he can't defend himself.
•MAGIC: That would be SO COOL.
•DEBATE: Please try.
•OTHER / NOTES: I've added Axel-specific CWs under a second cut.
CW: Axel's history includes aspects of abandonment, slavery, and biomedical experimentation. There's also gore and torture that happened to him more specifically. He doesn't have much of a filter, but please say so if you don't want this to come up.
